LWML and LLL Join Together to Support Utecht’s Ministry

Rev. Robert Utecht’s mission at Pine Ridge has been blessed by gifts from both the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and Lutheran Laymen’s League (LLL) of the South Dakota District.
 

When Pastor Utecht shared the need for two 15-passenger vans to transport children to church every week, the two auxiliaries came forward with financial support for the purchase of the vans. The LWML was able to give financial support through the use of its Special Gifts Fund.   
 

This is the latest example of how the auxiliaries have worked together in ministry with the Utechts in the past.  For many years, The LWML and LLL have supported the Puppet Place at the state fair, and the work on the Rosebud Reservation.
