Brookings Zone Fall Rally will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran, Brookings, SD. Representatives from Orphan Grain Train will speak on their mission.

​2024 Fall Rally will be October 6, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, Delmont, SD, beginning at 1 p.m.
(Preceding the rally, at 11 a.m., Zion's mission festival speaker, Rev. Michael Wolfram, Lutheran Family Services, will give a presentation. A noon meal is being offered for the congregation and LWML zone rally attendees.)
LWML Fall Rally Guest Speaker: Cathy VandeBraak, Lutheran Family Services - Adoption. Gifts from the Heart will be items for LFS: $5.00 gas cards that don't expire, after delivery items like maxi pads, cooling pads, lidocaine sprays, spray bottles, and a car seat that could goes from a baby to an older child. There will be a silent auction, with proceeeds going toward mite offerings. More information to follow.

SIOUX FALLS ZONE

Registration 8:30 a.m. Rally starts at 9 a.m.

"Live By Faith, Not By Sight" presentation by speakers from Lutheran Braille Workers. Please see the poster for more information.

Lunch will be served by the ladies of Zion.

A Sioux Falls Zone board meeting will be held after lunch.

BLACK HILLS ZONE

The Black Hills Zone met February 24, 2024, for a combined prayer service and zone spring rally at Peace Lutheran Church in Rapid City. 43 ladies from the zone were in attendance. Rev. Terry Naasz led the service entitled Grace; Mercy; & Peace written by Rev. Mike Mattil. The members of Peace LWML assisted with the service. Following a coffee break a presentation by Keena Manhalter on her visit to the Holy Land was enjoyed by all. In the afternoon a business meeting was held regarding the upcoming district convention in Aberdeen. Society presidents were encouraged to start planning for who they will send as delegates to represent their society at the convention. The meeting closed with a prayer by Rev. Naasz.

YANKTON ZONE

The Yankton Zone LWML will hold their Fall Rally in conjunction with the Christian Life Workshop to be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Yankton, SD on October 12, 2024. Rev. Dr. Jacob Bobby will be the presenter. He will be addressing the topic "Understanding Mass Media from a Christian Perspective". Those members of the Yankton Zone who will be attending, will meet during the lunch break. At that time we will conduct the business meeting, which will include the election of officers.
